Hike & Swim at the amazing Finch Hatton Queensland

Finch Hatton Gorge is located near the township of Finch Hatton. Coming from Mackay on the Mackay Eungella Road, turn right into Owen Creek Loop and then turn left into Gorge Road. Drive to the end of Gorge Road where there is a car park and where the walking trail starts. The car park, at the end of the road, has toilets and an information board.

Where is Finch Hatton Gorge. Finch Hatton Gorge is a nature-lovers paradise. It's nestled over an hour inland from Mackay or about 30 minutes via off the Major A1 Highway travelling from Brisbane to Cairns. On my several visits to the area, I've either day-tripped from Mackay or used it as a stopping point when traveling along the highway.
